Alkimia Botanical are the works of Australian local artist Gabrielle Leonard, based in the hills of the Sunshine Coast Queensland.

The process is a mindful eco-friendly practice, using wind fallen leaves, through the varying seasons to produce one of a kind artisan pieces.

Gabrielle's gloves and scarves are created from 100% ethically sourced silk and merino wool fabrics. 
 
Gabrielle gently steps and mindfully wanders through nature gathering the leaves, then bundles them around the fabric and paper, simmering them in pots to produce natures poetry and plant alchemy. It is a magical process and therapeutic to ones weary spirit.

Each item is unique unto itself and a piece of natures art. No two are ever the same and the results are always a mystery.
